What a blessing to be a part of this Miracle

At the center of this great story is Carla Francis from Jamaica. Starting from right to left, One of Carla's angels Katrina Osbourne, CDIS Board President Alisa Williams, and CDIS CEO and Founder Donald "Coach Don" White.

Katrina's husband, Carla's second angel, Pastor Dan Osborne took a trip to Jamaica. Pastor Oz was captivated by Carla's spirit, passion, and faith even though her life was changed by a dramatic and costly bicycle accident. Carla had to have her leg amputated, was bed ridden 4 years, not able to stand on her on remaining leg for 12 years, her life as she knew it was changed.

Miracles do happen. Carla was sent two angles to let her know that even though her life would be delayed, her life would not be denied. Pastor Oz told Carla that he was going to help her. Only thing is Pastor Oz wasn't 100% sure how and when the help would come. When Pastor Oz returned home from his trip, he would tell his wife Katrina about the story.

What happened next is simply amazing. Katrina sprang into action. She found an organization that is going to bless Carla with a prosthetic leg at no charge. Not knowing anything about this story, CDIS on March 26, 2022 named Katrina Osbourne Woman of the Year and awarded her the Medina Siddiqqi Sista's in Action Grant of $500.00 for all of the work and service that she selflessly renders to others.

To the surprise of CDIS, Katrina informed us that the grant was the blessing they needed to purchase a plane ticket for Carla's trip to Tampa, FL.  And now less than 90 days later. Carla is state side as of this article preparing for her procedure. Through prayer, and faith Carla has maintained her Balance in life by sticking to her core values, she  never lost the focus of her Vision to be able to walk again, stayed true to the Strategic process of prayer and obedience provide to her by her Almighty, and Carla worked hard to maintain her Brand of being a spiritual, happy, hopeful person.

Carla changed her mindset from whoa is me, to greatness is in me. Carla's life is changing again. "Delayed but not Denied" says Pastor Oz. With Gods blessings, and her two angles, Carla will walk again. Carla said, when she gets her new leg she is going to study and become a Register Nurse. Best wishes to Carla. "Changed minds, changes lives".
